In response to your recent comment regarding my wife's review, I would like to clarify that the things you wrote are false. First of all, the wishes requested by us at the beginning of the stay were only two: Replacing the two glasses of wine of 18 and 20 year old girls with two drinks. Being able to sit facing the sea every now and then. The first never happened, in fact we were told that it was only possible to pay the difference in the drinks, absurd, as a drink would cost less or the same as a glass of wine. The second time, in seven days, only once, by mistake and on the second day it was granted to us and only in the evening when we arrived late for an excursion, having however notified the Mokambo hotel which had reassured us that there would be no there were no problems arriving at 9.15pm in the middle of August!!! For the rest of the days always at table 19 in front of the bathrooms so please don't talk nonsense! Other requests from us did not arrive, in fact, you had made it clear from the first day not to make requests beyond the menu precisely because there would be no alternatives. As regards the established price, the paltry sum that you criticize so much, It was precisely this that clearly disturbed her and this was evidently the reason for the lack of consideration you gave us! She clearly said that we paid too little for the service received, making everything weigh and she should honestly be ashamed of this because we paid for a full board holiday package in agreement with the hotel which told us to take advantage of the meals at her place and If we had known that the treatment would be the one previously described, we would never have done it. I remember that on Thursday 10th August we didn't have time to sit down when the boy expressly said that he would have to say the menu that day first since there was almost nothing for us and when we asked for the butterfly salad which includes the tuna carpaccio, which was not available for us precisely because it contained carpaccio!!! Words spoken by him!!! The customer should not be put in the middle between your and the hotel's issues but "pampered". In conclusion I would like to point out that we will never set foot in a place like this again, if we have the pleasure of returning to San Benedetto we will certainly return to Vitadamare, they really know how to treat people there, you should ask for some advice 😉

I join the recent review. The owner of Farfallone is a real rude and rude man, classist I would say. Our sad experience: Customers who have an agreement with the Mocambo hotel (light full board, first or second starter and including glass of wine and water per room) have different treatment from occasional or regular customers. First of all, we "the affiliates" were placed in a different location compared to the "normal" customers, that is, placed at the side of the restaurant and not in front like the other customers, despite the several free tables. Different tablecloths compared to the others, limited and identical menu for both lunch and dinner. Waiting time for a schnitzel and plate of fries 40 minutes! You cannot replace a glass of wine with a soft drink (children therefore either only drink water or the soft drink is separate) or a first course with a simple fruit plate. For some dishes there is a surcharge. If you have intolerances of any kind there are no alternatives. The "members" have times established by the chalet for both lunch and dinner. One evening for personal reasons we were delayed by an hour, we arrived at 9.15pm, we were rudely scolded and warned not to do it again (the chalet serves dishes until 10.30pm) and there was no one at the tables and they only serve dishes frozen or caprese or ham and melon. Because of all this we would have liked to speak to the owner but he denied it saying that he had nothing to say, rather he said something: "that's just how it is". To conclude, our experience was really negative and we are very sorry about this. Not only will we never return but we will give bad publicity to anyone who wants to go to San Benedetto del Tronto on holiday by saying absolutely NOT to go to this chalet.

Unfortunately negative experience. Not at all suitable, especially if it has an agreement with a hotel that sends customers who have adopted a full board but also half board formula. All this because the menu is very limited and not varied, not suitable for children or for those with food intolerances or pregnant women. Only the waiters were really kind and nice. The fish main courses are cooked well enough, to review the first courses and appetizers which were brought to the table as if they had just come out of the freezer. The last 4 days of my holiday out of 7 I had to have lunch in the two adjacent restaurants, paying more than what I had already paid to the hotel and the music changed radically. The owners (especially the owner of VitadAmare) were truly kind and professional, attentive to the needs of my wife who could not eat certain dishes and my son who was intolerant to certain foods. The truly exquisite food has nothing to do with Farfallone.

I gladly share my more than positive experience in this little restaurant by the sea, clean and welcoming place, friendly and professional staff, the very nice owners made us feel at home straight away, exquisite food, very fresh fish and dishes with attention to detail, I can't see the It's time to go back with my family. Highly recommended!!
